5DIMES quarter PROGRESSIVE was finally hit
Been taking shots at it starting well over a week ago when I learned about it here on the forum when it was at $2,800............ played thousands of hands. It was hit at around $3,500.

Lost $40 on the play after it was all said and done.

Amazing that I only lost $40.......a small indication that this game may indeed be on the up and up.

Probably should have attacked it even more, and certainly would have if this had been in a Nevada casino.......in fact, I wouldn't have left the machine until the thing was hit(which wouldn't have been long with at least four people playing).

Play had a 103% return at the $2,800 figure.

Yeah, I saw that it was finally hit. I've been keeping track of the progressives for about a year now and that was by far the highest it's ever gotten. I've seen it go to around $2200 a few times but never like that.

I had about 6-7 one card draws for the Royal, couldn't connect.

It was the Jacks or Better Progressive at 5Dimes. They have a progressive for Jacks or Better, Joker's Wild, and Deuces Wild. The games range from .5 to $5. Of course if you want the progressive you must play the max coins.

I hit around 16 jackpots between the progressives and the Deuces Wild within the past year. I've slowed way down though on my play. I doubt I've played more than a few times in the past 4 months.

Yeah, I still see it on occassions. I've also seen a Joker's Wild promo as well. When they do have it they put it at the very bottom on the right where the empty space currently is.

                        Thanks Texas Fan!

                        Congrats on all those wins!

For these casino games, is 5dimes the best place to play these at? (At least we know if we hit there, we definitley get paid)

5Dimes is the only place I play VP at because they have a nice variety of games. I don't play any other casino game though, I stick to the VP.

As far as payouts I have always have a check at my front door in 2 days or less.

Hell, if I knew I would win all the time...

Seriously though, I went on a really good (lucky) streak during football season. I was hitting them on a weekly basis it seems. I haven't really played much in the past few months like I mentioned earlier, I kind of got burned out.

I do keep track of the progressives though, I like to see when the jackpot hits and what number it hit at. I'm not sure if that makes any difference because I've hit it at various payouts, but I have noticed a little bit of a pattern.

                                        There should be no "pattern".

If there were, we shouldn't be playing the game.

The "patterns" you speak of will vary greatly with every 100 ROYALS one monitors.

Like I said, it could have been just me, but I would notice that the RF would payoff a lot of time between the $1450 and $1500 range. Of course it varied, it would go up as high as $2200 or so and then hit.

I remember playing VP at the Stardust for years. They had the VP progressives that always hit around $1400 or so it seemed.

The bank of machines I'm talking about was right next to the Tony Romas rib place.

Hell, it's always different. I've played before a couple of times and hit them within 10 hands. I've played for hours and hours and never hit anything.

There's no magical trick to hitting them. The machines are supposed to hit a RF about once every 40K hands I believe it is. That of course means nothing, it can hit whenever the RNG tells it too.

I remember playing VP at the Stardust for years. They had the VP progressives that always hit around $1400 or so it seemed.

The bank of machines I'm talking about was right next to the Tony Romas rib place.

Having played hundreds and hundreds of progressives in Vegas, I can assure there is or was no pattern.

At times though, it does seem that way.

I would venture to guess around 140,000 hands..............BRUTAL

No, the last trip to Vegas was probably 3 years ago. The Aria wasn't built then correct?

For some reason I usually stick to the same casinos where I've had luck in the past. I really hated to see the Stardust get torn down years ago, I always did pretty good there.

Hey FH, I've heard for years and years that The Orleans is a great place for VP but I've never managed to make it there.

                                                          What's your opinion?

I hear ya, it can get frustrating as hell at times. Can you imagine how many hands were played before that $3500 progressive hit? I mean going from 1k to $3500 is a lot of hands.
