Wow bro you are a cheap fuk. I eat a $50+ meal at least once a week.
Most expensive was like $350 ish (per person). Had plenty of $200 meals.

416 for dinner. that was for 2 surf and turfs and a bottle of wine.
Other than that 1 time, Most I've spent was 120 for 2 people. I hate fancy places, and prefer to go to a sports bar, for a buger or wings.

Including alcohol my GF and I regularly go over $350. That is cocktails, salad, app, wine, entree, desert, aperitif. However, the most expensive as a pair was probably a 500+ at La Bernardin here in NYC.

A hard to question quantify really. You could also lump charity dinners when you can easily dump $1000+ a head but it's not strictly for the meal so I guess it doesn't count. Most expensive pure meal was most likely 8 course clusterfuck. I can't remember the price offhand but the food tasted like shit and it was a pain in the ass night. Must have been over $500? What a waste. Other than that next would be a Foie gras poutine also tasting weird along with other normal accouterments of the dinner. Hard to calculate sometimes when you credit card roulette food bill when out with friends. Might have been over $200?

I agree...IF i'm eating steak I'd normally rather go to the meat market or costco, and buy a 15-20 dollar steak and cook it myself, and enjoy a few red stripes while cooking it. **** it...I'm gonna grill steak tonight.

Ruth Chris Steakhouse was not my most expensive dinner but worth the $150 that night for two. Steaks melt in your mouth like butter.

Dude, I feel the same way! a $150 steak or a $12 Logans steak does the same thing. Fills me up & turns to shit!
I have eaten a few VERY expensive meals, but most have been comps or paid for by someone else. There's just a few things I have never spent much money on & never will.
Meals
Vodka
sunglasses
women
there's not a dimes difference in any of these things & the money you save on these you can spend on the finer things in life!

If this is the attitude why not just consume a crude flour & water paste (i.e. gruel) since it is the cheapest and anything you consume will just be shit out 12 hours later. In fact, why engage in any activity that might only provide fleeting enjoyment!?!

Almost used my credit card points to pick up 250 bucks to Ruth Chris' steakhouse in chicago....But instead just got instant deposit into my bank acct.
I would enjoy a nice filet from there.

i didn't say i was cheap. like profit said, i don't see the point in spending $150+ on a meal when the end result from eating a $20 meal is the same. i'd rather take that $130 extra and put it towards something else that i dunno, won't turn to shit

Yup $310/month. Plus the 10K in credit cards I had to pay off that were almost exclusively dining out. That was years ago though, I have since long learned my lesson

St. Elmo's Steakhouse in Indianapolis....
Brock Landers can most likely attest to this establishment
