Bet Phoenix 12 hour line change nightmare!
I bet on a tennis match that was scheduled to go off at 3am but overnight they changed it to 3PM!!!! and the line moved 50 fuckin points. They wont let me change it to save the 120 dollar juice or cancel it. I have never in my life bet on something twelve hours before a match and they are not willing to do anything and just let me get robbed. any suggestions?????????????

It's BP's call. They have change and refused to change bets for me (where the line HASN'T moved).

Not many books will do ANYTHING for you at all.

              I'd compromised with you.

              - Cancel bet with no action on match with revised time.

                  look up their rules
usually books dont void wagers if a match gets postponed , but i'm not 100 % sure if thats the case at bp

Can you post the details of your wager so I can see the time....they would not have changed the time on the wager

Play at a better book for tennis first off. Bet Phoenix sucks for tennis lines. Don't mean to sound crass, but do some homework on the start time for yourself by visiting the website for these tennis events. Go to the ATP website and you can find the order of play with approximate start times for the first match of the day. 3AM in Toronto was not going to be a start time. It's Bet Phoenix's horrible time setting, but I don't see how you have any case for anything based on the start time they posted. And no book in their right mind if going to let you cancel a bet to save the juice on it after the line starts moving.

books are never going to let you cancel bets to get a better line. Why would they?

If you bet, you're locked in for the day.

Toronto's first matches for the day started at 11 AM EDT. If it said 3 AM, you should've known they made a mistake.

All valid points but Bp is my book and ive built a nice roll there they made a mistake by listing it as 3 am and I made the mistake of not researching enough but vie been with them for three years and never asked to cancel a wager. Either way theres no good turnout if he wins I would have won more and if he loses I would have lost less oh well

This is why I asked what match it was just in case it was a Challenger but since it was the Rogers, yeah, a 3am EST start obviously wasn't going to happen.

That being said, I know it sucks cobalt that they won't help you out but my book posts wrong times quite often. If you're not a regular tennis bettor, maybe you could try again with them and just explain you didn't understand that it was physically impossible for the match to start at that time but I have a feeling they'll just tell you you're out of luck again.

I'm sorry the line movement moved against and not for you as well. That really sucks.

They wouldn't care if you were the mistress of the owner man, they're in it to take your money in the long run. Just chalk it up as a learning experience and definitely pay attention to BP's start times. They generally do one of the worst jobs about posting accurate times for tennis matches and they don't repost lines after their "listed" start times from what I remember. That's why I went to 5Dimes. Better accuracy and they gladly repost lines for matches if they are off the board, but have not started. I would definitely recommend switching to them if you like tennis betting and are playing in the USA. They have similar deposit methods too, I believe.

yeah, betphoenix is bad about tennis.

Big juice and wildly inaccurate times. When a match doesn't start until hours later, they usually won't put the line back up.
