Well I was going to post this before tomorrow nights games, but Gavin got me going on another song I have always loved. I do not always go for the most commercial song of an album, I go after a song that moves me. The first 20 seconds of the song is how every Monday goes for most of us in here. This song was on the album Step in the Arena. I had this cassette along with a bunch of others thanks to Columbia mail order. Gang Starr to this day remain one of my favorite groups of all time. Gang Starr consisted of Guru and DJ Premire. Guru also became a solo artist doing jazz work with artists like Donald Byrd and Branford Marsalis. Unfortunately for all Gang Star fans on February 2010, Guru suffered a heart attack, went into a coma, and died on April 19, 2010.
