Well Boys I decided I would start a daily post of music videos that have influenced my life throughout the years. I well discuss the song, group and what it meant to me during that part of my life and now years later. Most of the Videos will be of the Hip Hop genre (Sorry Brock). Music has really be a big influence in my life and I just thought I would share it. If you are not into Hip Hop I encourage you to watch the videos, expand your horizons.
I would love to hear comments on not just the song, but what was going on in your life when this song was popular etc etc....
I will try this for a few days no matter how many comments I get and Ill take and review from there.
The first Video I want to share is a easy pick for me since it was the lead single on the first hip hop album I could not put down. I remember as a kid me and my cousin Seth memorizing every lyric in the song then going into the living room and rapping the song to are entire family during the holidays. I was Phife Dawg and my Cousin Seth was the Q-Tip. The pic below the youtube clip is me (left) Seth (right) taken around the same time. We rocked the house that night and got a standing ovation. To this day whenever I am in a rut or struggling I through this album on and it just puts me at ease.
