Sorry if I missed the reason why, as I have not read through this entire thread.

I will be moving back to Vegas in the next 5-12 months, so if you need any help with anything, just ask.

Although SPORTSBETTING is one of the reasons I'm moving back to Vegas, there are many other reason for me making my move..............

    POKER
    WEATHER
    REAL ESTATE
    VIDEO POKER
    BLACKJACK
    FOOD
    GOLF
    MOUNTAINS

I'm sure, or hope, you have many more reasons for moving to Vegas other than just to wager on baseball.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys.
Let me clear up a few things

#1) JereyShop101 – Yeah I basically winged it from the heart in the VIDEO, so did I put too much PERSONAL information out there? Maybe, but I am willing to live with that for now. I came short on describing too many things about my place of employment or city I live in. I respect your opinion whole heartedly; I had the same discussing with my past friend when he watched it last night.
          2) FISH – You asked
"Question, if bases is your #1 moneymaker by far, why do you have to move to Vegas for this?
The reason is that #1 I just don’t want to use offshore books, if I am crazy then I am crazy. I also don’t want to use my friend who is an agent with a sports book, even though I am guaranteed to get paid cash.
          3) Brock – Background music….Well I am open minded so what about some Limp Bizkit and Jay Z or just some Kid Rock. I was born to hip hop and it will always be a passion of mine. However today rap is is HORRIBLE. I prefer 90-00, classic hip hop for me.
          4) FISH – You listed as reasons for moving we match up pretty close
POKER – Die Hard Poker Player, want to play every day, I had to build extra money into my system to accommodate poker.
WEATHER – Love it I had the humidity from Florida, a big guy like me leaks in Florida
REAL ESTATE – I agree with this also, the prices are great at this time
VIDEO POKER – NOT ME maybe 10 bucks in a machine and only play when the bartender is looking so I can get free beer.
BLACKJACK – NOT ME to dangerous I will try to beat it and go broke. I learned my lesson with this.
FOOD – Well the food in Florida is ok also? The only thing I will miss is my favorite beer. YUENLING!!!!!!!!!!!
GOLF – I am looking forward to this also. I suck but I love it!!!!
MOUNTAINS – My favorite part of the whole area. My favorite city in the world Is South Lake Tahoe, so being in Vegas if I want to go to Tahoe for some time is possible.
          5) To everyone with all the COP comments, that is amazing to me? Everyone is entitled to their own views. I just didn’t realize it would touch such a nerve. I might make a video about this next.

Not sure why you would not want to use offshore sportsbooks and/or agents.
When you move to Vegas, you will find yourself doing this anyway in all liklihood, and would be somewhat naive not to do such to be honest.

            4) FISH
POKER – Die Hard Poker Player, want to play every day, I had to build extra money into my system to accommodate poker.

Great, you will definetly pick up some free cash in this area

WEATHER – Love it I had the humidity from Florida, a big guy like me leaks in Florida

Having lived in Vegas for close to 20 years and Florida now for 8, LV weather is WAY BETTER.

REAL ESTATE – I agree with this also, the prices are great at this time

            Better than great

VIDEO POKER – NOT ME maybe 10 bucks in a machine and only play when the bartender is looking so I can get free beer.

Well, if you meet me at the bash AND move to Vegas, chances are you will be playing much more video poker..........

BLACKJACK – NOT ME to dangerous I will try to beat it and go broke. I learned my lesson with this.

You will not go broke playing BJ if your limits are well in place .......especially when you will be attacking only plus EV oppurnties.........counting, wonging in and out, coupons

FOOD – Well the food in Florida is ok also? The only thing I will miss is my favorite beer. YUENLING!!!!!!!!!!!

They have Yungling in Vegas.......as well as tons of other great beers..........including a great micro brewing spot in BARLEYS, one of my favortie vegas stops.

GOLF – I am looking forward to this also. I suck but I love it!!!!

We are in the same boat here, hope you like to walk courses and not take a cart.........get some exercise.

MOUNTAINS – My favorite part of the whole area. My favorite city in the world Is South Lake Tahoe, so being in Vegas if I want to go to Tahoe for some time is possible.

One only has to travel 30-60 minutes to MT CHARLESTON.........awesome area.

I'm positive some of the local pubs I frequent in Vegas serve Yuengling........I don't drink it regularly, so not 100% positive.

Actually I just read that because the prohibition is is illegal to transport beer across state lines, so if there is not a distributor in Nevada they cant have it in Vegas and based on the map there is not a distributor in Nevada.

We will find you a close replacement sir.

I think you will enjoy the BARLEYS microbrews if you take to a liking to Yungling.

We will take a trip there during the bash if you are up to it........im driving, so have a large vehicle to comfortably take up to four people.

Donald wil surely be joining us(good guy and sharp)

There are also a couple other BEER joint we can make quick stops at.

I know baseball is your thing. In fact surprisingly baseball has been my best sport since doing this full time but with that said summer and baseball betting is the one time of the year I feel vegas isn't needed. I just can't believe you can get better prices in Vegas on baseball then Pinny and matchbook. I am all for having tons of books an shopping for the best lines but I find it almost impossibile to ever find a better number then these two places, espcialy once the market has matured later in the day. Every dollar counts. I have done well and have only a 2% edge overall and 4% with bases and those edges are probably based entirely on getting those extra few dollars at matchbook on every bet. Without MB I may actually be a loser. You may not think it but that adds up quickly. I cannot stress that enough. I almost think its impossible for anyone to beat bases longterm without mathbook in their arsenal.

My ultimate goal going forward is to probably be out of Vegas during baseball season, continue to bet it everyday but in other parts of the country while coming back to LV for the football and hoops season, which are also the best weather wise times of the year in vegas. Winter in Vegas is great, IMO. Also you can find better numbers in LV during those two sports if you pound the pavement.

                          Iceman,

i agree Matchbook has great odds. I am sure if I minus an average of 5 cents per game, I would have made about 2000 dollars more.

                          Now the question is.

Is 2000 dollars worth the hassle on Matchbook of being able to securely get the money in and out of Matchbook?

I will go through my spreadsheet and see how much it would have effected me and Ill give you an answer in 30 mins.

More I think about it I am going to guess the difference is under 2000 dollars. I know I have lost only 48 baseball games this year.

I stand corrected it changed my profit from

                            66174 TO
                            69175

So I will be looking into this for the future also.
I can tell you this Matchbook is the only book even close to lines as good as The M Casino.

Excellent Vid, watched it again, very down to earth guy.

cops though, aren't there conflicts of interest, like you could be shaking down bookies and pimps, drug dealers and ho's to support your gambling. How do they police that, Internal affairs?

I like you guy, break out some Rolling Stones, maybe a little Foo Fighters and you'll be all right by me!

#1) Conflict of interest....... You are 100% correct, It has been a bother especially since I have dealt with a lot of drugs and money in my career. I have a photos I would love to show, but at this point I cant maybe next year when I leave my department. I have always been a small time player, but a big time studier and researcher. The last 3.5 years working on my system I have missed out on over 150k easy. Thats one main reason I have deiced to leave in March 2011 unless something drastic happens.

#2) Stating I got a winner and breaking it out......Well that is a little more complicated. I got a system which is confusing look what happened when I posted my spreadsheet JJ and other said it was to hard to understand.

I did have a series tonight and posted it as a play and then after posting it I did more research and notice Braun and Hart where out of the lineup. Due to that game being a 4 game series I had a choice to start it today or tomorrow. I chose today LAST night due to the pitching match ups of today. If I would have know last night that they both were out I would not have played it.

Look for a post in the baseball section in about an hour with my plays for tomorrow. Also at the Bash when we got time I will show you the spreadsheet in greater detail.

                                              LVBOUND,

I was just reading your previous threads to maybe get an inside hint to your baseball system, .

Your very first thread here at SBR, you said you were moving to Vegas on business in January 2009. Did you ever go? And if so, how did it turn out for you?

I sure could use a 60K settlement for this upcoming football season

Excellent vid, Matt. You seem like a cool guy and I wish you luck.

About the cop thing: I've had good and bad experiences with them. When I was a kid I was on the wrong end of a lot of bad experiences, but I have to say police in this day and age are much, much better. It's a new generation, new professionalism, much more civil rights awareness, etc. When my sons got in the same juvy trouble I did they were treated a lot better.

Some doctors are good, some are bad; some engineers good, some bad; some waitresses good, some bad. Cops, too.

Hope you make it out here. If you do, remember: the worst that can happen is you fail. And anyone not failing at things in life is doing it wrong.
