Technical Help: 25 points to 1st Solution

I am running the newest version of Firefox. For the past 3 days, I have been unable to make picks on SBR contests because the page freezes up after about 5 seconds. This is the only webpage that does this.

I have tried clearing my cache, cookies, and history. I checked each of my plugins. I tried to open it in Explorer and the same thing happened. I have run my antivirus and system mechanic. Nothing is working.

Suggestions would be appreciated. I'll give 25 points to the first solution that works. I'm heading to bed now, so I'll check the thread tomorrow. Thanks for any help you can give.

good luck bud, had the same problem a few months back, but when I cleaned out everything, cookies, temp files, etc. it eventually worked, don't know what to tell you if that's not working for you.

Uninstall firefox and reinstall it. Ship the points.

Please go to: Start -> All Programs -> Mozilla Firefox -> Then please run: Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode). This will use default settings and disable any add-on's. After you have done so, please re-attempt at going to the sites

install google chrome, good browser, and doesnt suck up your computer resources like firefox

Ace, I tried yours. . .still freezing up.

Is this happening to you as well, Minet? I can get one choice in, hit submit, and it takes it if I'm lucky before it crashes.

The weird thing is that it happens on both IE and Firefox. . .

Definitely something wrong on the SBR contest page. I've had this same problem. I wrote a post about on the contest forum page and it cleared up the next day. So I don't know if SBR techs corrected it or the issue resolved itself. Seems to be a random problem that happens to a few posters here on occasion.
