    Computer Help
I was banned from a forum I read a lot. Every time I try to log on I get this message.....

    Database error
The Truckers Trucking Forum | Largest CDL Truck Driver Message Board database has encountered a problem.
    Please try the following:
Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
Open the www.thetruckersreport.com home page, then try to open another page.
Click the Back button to try another link.
The www.thetruckersreport.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.
I use several different IP's(Home, Truck Stops and Hotels). I get that message at every IP on my laptop. My question is can a forum mod tag my computer and prevent me from viewing the site? I keep getting emails that members have responded to threads I've started. Is there something on my computer preventing me from viewing the site?

From that message, I would be at least 95%+ that you aren't banned and it's just something on their end (probably database issues) With that said, it is possible that they changed their "banned" message to something more generic to not let people onto the real problem.

Yes I would have to agree. Check to see if you have the latest updates. What browser are you using, Modzilla, IE, etc.., you may need to add the site to an approved list. You browser might block the site, if it deems it as spam or malware or has excessive pop ups.

no, mods cannot tag your computer per se. they can tag your IP addy that is assigned to your computer. and when you say other IP's are you referring to the same computer but changing your IP with a program?
