I had Minnesota and Philadelphia.
Minnesota - blows a 6 run lead at the hands of a bunch of shitty players (Yes, Tampa Bay has an AWFUL offense - and their B team was out there today).
Philly - that call needs no further evaluation.
Things even out, though.
No time in the history of MLB has a pitcher lost TWO games in the same season in which he had a lead of five or more going to the ninth.
I was on Mike Leake and the Reds for BOTH OF THOSE GAMES when the Reds blew a 9-3 lead against Atlanta and a 7-1 Lead against Philadelphia in the 9th inning.
After the second one, I took a month off. I came back and played 3 totals, 3 days in a row. Each total was 9.5. Each game ended with exactly 9 runs.
I thought Minnesota had ****** me again today by blowing that 6 run lead.
Thank you catwalk. Thank you ancient fossil Bob Davidson.
