Worms and parasites are transmitted from fecal matters. Most organic farms use fertilizer from animal fecal matters called night soil. So eating organic produce can cause feces to mouth contamination.

Salmonilla and a new virulent strain of e-coli are a bigger threat. As is fungus. The refusal to use pesticides means that pests burrow into the crops, opening holes, fungus spreads through the holes.
Like most things pushed by the "Green" nutjobs, organic food is a ripoff. It costs more, has lower nutrient content, and is more likely to contain harmful organisms. Also, farming "organic" requires more land, a lot more land for the same yield. If all farms switched to "organic" farming, 1/3 of the earth's population would starve to death. Sometimes I wonder if that isn't the true aim of the "Green" movement. The eradication of humans.

There are 140 acres around me of 'organically' grown arugula. No manure is used.
