Boston Celtics hire veteran Shaquille O'Neal

5:32 pm - BOSTON (Reuters). Shaquille O'Neal-The four-time champions United States basketball, sealed his move to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday the franchise of the NBA.

O'Neal, 38, was a free agent after leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers. He comes to the Celtics to deliver a high dose of experience to the team, which lost last season's NBA Finals against Los Angeles Lakers.

"Not every day can add your team to a player the caliber of Shaquille," said Danny Ainge in a statement, chief operating officer of Boston.

"His past experience speaks for itself and we believe it is a great recruitment," he added.

O'Neal, who won three NBA titles with the Lakers and one with Miami Heat, he averaged 12 points and 6.7 rebounds last season for the Cavaliers.

yeah, it will be cool to see him playing there, only sad thing is now cleavland has nobody.

Shaq should have been the greatest player ever. He should have averaged 30 and 20 a game, but he didnt want to give it his all, who the hell could block him out to get a rebound from him. he should have been the next Wilt, to bad he was just to lazy to work at it!
