I'm on my second time with the program, and i love it! enough of a difference in each video to keep you interested. Tony Horton is a tool, but his sayings are funny with friends. My fav is " don't say you can't say I presently struggle with" LOL

Downloaded it a week ago, decided to just use the ab ripper x and keep my lifting routine.
Good call on Tony being a tool though

No very legit workout. About an hour each if you take all the breaks they have chest and back, plyometrics which is jump training the hardest dvd, arms and shoulders, yoga, legs and back, and kempo for the first 3 weeks

It works... I know several people that have done the program. I have all the material and I also have Insanity but I'm too lazy to start either. I thought about doing the fitness test tonight but I'm tired after eating 3 jelly donuts

Anyways, too tough for me.. Pushups, chinups, and jogging is good enough.

lol it's just random workouts in succession. why don't you just run 10 miles everyday carrying a medicine ball? or i dont' know, play a sport?
my brother uses this. He's slimmed down quite a bit and added some muscle. There's no reason why it wouldn't work. I think you set what weights you want to use during the weight training portion. This would probably get you cut if you reduced the calories and this 5-6 days a week.

I agree. Maybe if we did it together we could get through it?

Not really. You're supposed to do Stretch X on the day off.

This is far more specific. The whole concept is based on "muscle confusion". If you just run or play one sport, eventually you'll slow down your progress due to repetition.

The yoga day? I'm dreading it tomorrow. Worst day of all, and I suck at each of them equally.

Just finished yoga, am getting really good at it don't hate it as much as I did when i first stared it. It does help you loosen up your legs so much! My legs feel great all the way till the next plyo

How about a Results and Recovery Shake... or you can just slip a little in your water bottle while you're working out?

P90X is legit, it won't get you buff like years of eating a lot and lifting heavy weights can but if it's great for losing weight and possibly building a little bit of muscle (depending on your current state).
