The retroactive decisions by books not to honor wagers seem a main theme these days.
I don't know whatever happened to the unwritten rule that if you book the bet it's good, but I do wish someone would write a clear set of rules on the subject. Four or five basic principles that are easy to understand and that, when not honored, result in an automatic downgrade.
All these dishonorable books are doing is prove the Bush administration right.
