Betandwin blocked my account and keep my money
Here is my story (goes back to some 2 weeks ago)

After some months of betting with betandwin and right after I deposited some funds in my account, the financial department, suddenly decided to block my account due to security reasons, without saying anything more.

In their emails they refused to say why.

When I contacted them by phone, they still refused to say why and moreover they said they don't know what they will do with my money, if they will keep it or if they will return them back to me.

First time I withdrew my money, I didn't have a problem, but now they just keep it there, despite my phone calls.

One friend of mine told me that some friends of his that work there, told him that betandwin doesn't "like" bettors that play single games, they prefer bettors that play parlays, so they are more "profitable" for the company (due to many more chances of tem loosing the bet). He had the same problem with me, and usually the company puts the limit of betting to 5 euros...
I checked with my bank and they said that they had other customers comlaining with the same problem.

As I was informed yesterday by them that they closed my account because I made a deposit and then I requested not to come through that deposit (within my bank), something that was never done. My credit card is fully operational and my bank informed that they took the money normally.

I sent them some papers supplied from my bank that show that the deposit was done properly and that they took the money and that my credit card is opperational and was never recalled it or deposits made with it.

They replied that they will look into it and can't do it before 11th September, untill then my account is blocked!! (and I will probably loose my money)

I am posting this in every forum I know, just as a warning, this company is the worst I've ever met.

I'm a little unclear. Is Bet and Win saying you made a credit card deposit and did a **********?

Did you place any bets between the time of the deposit and the account being frozen?

Or are they saying this "I made a deposit and then I requested not to come through that deposit (within my bank)" was something that happened some time in the past?

    I'm not quite getting it.

Well Mudcat let me clarify this more.

I made a deposit using my card within the betandwin system. They accepted. There was no reason for me to ask for a **********. (besides that can't be done with any bookie but only through the bank).

The deposit was made on Friday two weeks ago. I placed a bet (which by the way lost) and went to sleep. the following morning when I tried to log in to my acoount but it was blocked. I emailed them a couple of times but their support center didn't explained to me why that happened.

I had to phone them and only after two days they said that "their system shows that I had requested a ********** of my deposit so they closed my account, because they can't refund them since I have placed a bet. In that way they would lose".

Of course I have never asked my bank for a **********, but they wouldn't accept my saying.
I went to my bank and they said that betandwin took the money normally, my card is active and authorised (besides I have made some deposits to other bookies since then).

Betandwin asked me to fax them that the deposit was normally made and that my card is normally working and is active (papers I had to get from my bank).

I faxed them on monday and they replied that they will look into that but not untill 11th september, till then my account is closed and my money is somewhere out there (prsonally I don't think I'll ever get it back).

Hope that clarifies my earlier post.

I wonder what the signifigance is of Sep 11. Will that be 30 days after your deposit. Are they trying to make sure that the deposit definitely clears. Almost seems like they want you to do a **********. If you wnat to send an email to assistance@sportsbookreview.com, with your account information, we'll be more than happy to contact betandwin, and see if they can give us a better explanation of why they locked your account.

Okay I get it. They're saying you deposited with a CC, lost a bet and attempted a ********** - which is (unfortunately) a situation which books that allow CC deposits face quite often. You're saying there was no attempted **********.

You said they claimed, their system shows that I had requested a ********** of my deposit. If that is true, they should have some documentation of what their system is showing. If they don't, then that is very bad on them.

            I will stay tuned.

If this is the case then you should contact Bill Dozer right away because the book by your explanation is clearly wrong.

                        Well an update.

The 11th September (the final date of their audit) has come and gone and betandwin didn't even have the decency to send me an email saying "sorry but we desided to steel your money".

Well maybe my money is lost, but I hope I helped some others' save theirs. Keep far away from that company unless you want to loose your money....

I see it has a rating of C+ in SBR. I think it should be downgraded to F- or better yet obliterated from the list
                        betandwin

Thank you all for your concern

                          Iberobet Is Sth Like Betandwin

Hello everybody. I have one bad experience. Iberobet has closed my account because as I was said by email, I have violated their rules. They said multiple account was oppened from the same IP adress. They stole my more than 200eur. I have written them, that I have never used bonus from them, but they have sent my email, that their decision is that my account will stay closed. Ok, so I decided, that they will never be good betting office because I will tell it everyone. Yesterday I have registered on bet4everyone.com and today they have made me the same thing. I am sure, that I have never used their bonus, I have never been registered there, but they refused to give me a reason why. I think there is a imposture in those betting offices, be careful where you deposit your money. Somebody should do something with them. This is not fair play

24hpay ltd books don't allow multiple accounts from the same IP address sir. However, SBR poster Champi did report that you are within the rules to have 1 account at each one of their family of books.

Here is a list of all the 24hpay ltd books:

                                24hpay

So bwin is being a bad bookie?
At least they aren't worse like BetUS and I do use them for stats etc, they have a good live-betting system that even shows how many minutes left in basketball.

their website is by far the best one i've seen of all bookie i know.

They have a lot of in-play matches, audio or video in some of them BUT, they usually makes a lot of mistakes in their lives just like missing goals, palped errors in odds which are later canceled and other stuff like that, and usually horrible odds.

If you want a good site with lots of live matches AND best odds go to betfair, if you only want a pretty site go to bwin
