TAMPA SPORTS BARS are so great it is the reason many do not attend games of the RAYS, BUCS, and LIGHTNING.

Tampa bars are like a mini-sportsbook.........usually 1-4 locals(bookies) at most spots.

Many of the popular offshore establishments are represented.............do you people actually think I live here because of the fishing??

Sure looks like the bar across the street from where the Tampa Lightning play.

Small place pretty much on corner of little street where there is parking for events.

Also have a patio with some tables. Liked it very much.

Won't give the name and there are other bars around the arena, I believe last time I was there I ordered food at the bar which was very good and reasonable, all the tables were full. Good sportsbar food, fast service.

Better than going inside arena across the street where the food is unbelievably expensive. Like 6 dollar pretzels etc.

Hmmmm, then it's not in Ybor City which is kind of close to downtown and has a shitload of bars.

Now Rays play in St. Pete (not Tampa) but there are some good bars around Trop field even though it's a shitty section of St. Pete. Trop. Field is nice.

Best sports bars are in casinos in Vegas where you can legally walk to the sportsbook and lay a bet, bet it a halftime wager, or a "bail-out" bet.

Name some of these bars that are likely to have bookies lurking. I live in Tampa. I've only met two bookies so far in sports bars. One at the Bruce B Downs Hooters and one at Winners Grill, Wesley Chapel. I wouldn't think either of these would be where it's at, though.
