If I went on a work stoppage strike.... after a week what would happen?
If you claim I would probably get fired, then would I be allowed to collect unemployment?

Yes you would probably get fired.
How could we possibly answer the question about collecting unemployment when there are different laws for different jurisdictions regarding termination of employment? Us posters are scattered across the globe.

If you are hired at will you can't go on strike. If you go on strike you will be fired because you are hired and fired at will.

When can I be denied unemployment if I’m fired?
If you were fired, whether you can get unemployment depends on why you were fired. You cannot get unemployment benefits if your former employer can prove you were fired for
“wilful misconduct”
lying on a job application (about important information)
stealing
failing a drug or alcohol test that is required by the government
committing a felony
participating in an illegal strike
What is the definition of wilful misconduct?
Basically, “wilful misconduct” means you did something that was within your control and was very harmful to the employer’s business or company. Some examples of wilful misconduct include: disobeying direct orders by a supervisor, fighting with someone on the job, and drinking on the job.

There isn't any bargaining power right now to go on a strike.

If you want to get fired to collect unemployment why go on strike? Just don't show up for work without a reason and get fired at will. I do not understand why do you have to go on strike to get fired.

In FL you wouldnt get unemployment. Ive had guys not show up and try to get fired for that. What happens is I write them up each day, and after the 3rd write up Im legally within my employer rights to fire them, and they will not be able to get unemployment since I wrote them up the 3 times for not showing up to work. Its kinda like a 3 strike/write ups per year and your out thing.
