Lets say I have a phone or an ipod that I want to get rid off can we post a picture here like ebay and auction it and whoever offers the most points gets it. Then we pay a rake to SBR as a percentage of the sale price.
Can we auction stuff for points?

So if two posters can't afford to deposit money at the sportbooks they do a virtual yard sale and with the points obtained they buy a free play. Why list the stuff on craiglist, then sell it and take the money to deposit at the book?Comment -

#14Wow! Excellent creative thinking!
How about a player to player points auction for cash?
There has been some huge casino winners lately. What if we had auction where he could offer them for cash to the highest bidder? SBR could be one of the birders.Comment -

#19Originally posted by flyingilliniLets see if we can do this, if so I will see what they are going for. I bought it and played 1 game 1 time. Never watched a movie on it. I thought I would use it but I have no need for it. I have 2 controllers, 1 still in the box, sealed.. You have to wait.....gotta make a nice parlay and hit the muthafuka in order to pay.
I hope we don't get banned for this.

#21interesting idea... does the person who purchased an item send the points to a "3rd party" until the merchandise is received and then the points are released to the seller?Comment -

#23except there is nothing to keep you from being scammed...I'd say that SBR would have to regulate a little, like ebay does...Points sent to SBRescrow, item sent to person, SBRescrow sends to seller.Comment -

#25Sounds like a good idea!
I have lots of unneeded/unwanted stuff worthy of a garage sale. Too lazy to do that so and SBR auction would be a better option.
Who wants this?

#27Think the idea is good, but too many legal issues that could get in the way... People getting items not as described, not getting their product, damaged in the mail, etc etc... I think that there should be some regulations on how long a poster has been here, how respected they are etc to allow them to buy or sell.Comment -

#30This place does not have the capacity to manage such an endeavor. It's tough enough for Ebay to do it, as buyers and sellers still get scammed daily.Comment -

#33Yeah if SBR likes the idea they will come up with the rules and the way to operate it. It has to be done as a different entity..SBRAuctions. For example players can bid if they have enough points in their balance. They can't allow bidders with inadequate points to bid so they can jack up the bid. And yes anything can be traded that is legal.Comment -
