What do you do with free play cash bet it straight or parley
Im wondering what the best strategy is when it comes to betting free play cash. I understand that betting a parlay maxamizes your money but is it worth the risk. Im curious to see what everybody thinks??

I'd three team parlay, but make sure you really like all three legs. If it's a free play that is large relative to your bankroll i'd sit on it for a bit and take a dog that you really really like.

A 3 team parlay is the way to go for sure.

Make sure you know what the sites free-play rules are though. A lot will still accept the bet, but they do not allow more than a 3 team parlay (with any leg +/-200 or more), or a straight bet on anything more than +/-200.

The longer the odds, the best the freeplay value. 3 teams parlays give you +600, you cannot find much larger moneylines dogs, and sometimes they are not allowed by the book rules. You can even split the freeplay in many small parlays, reducing the variance.

Be careful betting straight bets in baseball on free plays. If there is a pitching change or a rainout, then you lose your wager at some books even in a postponed game

BINGO, a bunch of small parlays is good.

I like to pick 5 sides and wheel them all ten ways as 3 teamers for maybe $5 each ( $50 total risk). You need 3/5 to cash one 4/5 cashes four and 5/5 cashes all ten bets.If you had $200 in FP you should cash at least a few with 40 $5 three teamers spread over a few days. It is easy to bet this with most books in one RR bet that makes all ten plays at once.

no reason to ever straight bet MLB with FP, odds never get near the +600 to make it a decent bet.

so basically eveyone picks parlays. but if you bet it straight you have real money to play with. so why not bet it straight and then make two seperate parlays. that way it gives you the money which would increase your bets. I know im kinda being crazy but ive gone back and forth with this for a long time pondering which one is best. to me hitting a 3 team parlay is a risk why not just hammer it on one solid for sure bet???

                          for sure bet....like a lock ?

You need a high return to use FP wisely. Many of us are happy with +600 or so on three teams.

Just to clarify....if its a FREE PLAY, not free cash, then I always make a straight wager first. Lets say you have a $100 free play with 6x rollover. So you bet a 3team $100 parlay and make $600. Now depending on the book and their free play rules (most require that the rollover amount is calculated from winnings that came from freeplay NOT the freeplay amount. So another words you would have to wager $3600 (6x $600) NOT $600 ($100 x 6) in order to req a payout. So you couldnt make a w/d until u wagered $3600. What I do is wager the freeplay straight. Say at -110 so I win my straight bet and now have $90 cash, so now I only have to rollover $90 x 6 = $540. Once I have my $90 cash THEN I'll do my parlay. But again it depends on the rules your book has for cashout on freeplays or if its FREE CASH then just go with a parlay.

I bet it on straight bets until it becomes at least 1 unit (each player has their own 1 unit..$10, $20, $100 etc). Then I treat it the same way I treat my real money bets.
