What sports would you associated with the word "upset"? What I mean by this is in which sport do favorites often lose to dogs?
I am thinking about tennis and baseball.

Think about it in terms of odds and %s. Baseball and Hockey have the most upsets obviously. The most you'll ever see is maybe a -300 fav in these. Very rarely over, and average is around -150. High parity in these. With football and basketball, there are usually less upsets, not uncommon to have teams at -500.

Interesting. Almost everyone included baseball. How about girl's sports like WTA tennis?

baseball.. only reason I don't pick bets.. I let the people who know how to pick tell me... little things can throw the whole game off.. with so much riding in the pitchers hands.. it's far from a standard "team sport"

i must agree mr. Gold. In the nba anyone can get hot any night and tear the court up. And baseball is the same. But i would add nhl to this strictly cuz based on to many factors. Penaltys, bad bounce of the puck, too many variables that could cause a goal
