    Fishhead, a Question about Florida.....
Have you ever come across a critter that doesn't belong there like a Burmese Python or a Monitor lizard, etc ?

    Huh?

I don't believe so.......although not many run into the BANANA SPIDER i had in my bedroom.

The native gators are in abundance in my backyard.

There are all kinds of invasive critters that don't belong down there according to what I see on TV, most notably 10' + pythons, but a lot of other stuff like huge lizards and monkeys and more.

Sorry, the page you’re looking for is no longer available. Stay connected to Nature by diving into your local chapter page and explore the things that The Nature Conservancy has been working with near you.

We have parakeets in CT that manage to survive, they of course won't eat your dog.

We have parakeets in New England....

escaped pets, like feral cats basically.

all kinds of foreign species everywhere especially in the waters. I don't think I'd ever swim in a lake in Florida with all the gators that actually belong there.

There are big ass sharks that swim like 1,000 miles inland in rivers too !

Lake Mead is sounding pretty good !

doug, my Uncle is the heads greenskeeper at a golf course down there. He caught a monitor lizard once. I had no idea wtf he was talking about. He caught it and put it in a garbage bin. Fucker was HUGE. Never saw one of those things before until he showed me a picture.

All kinds of rad critters can live in the Everglades swamp lands. These 12'+ pythons are not Bigfoot ( no evidence, like a body)....they are there, and some other critters that are not native, big ass lizards, monkeys, its a jungle.

I'd love to see Jai alai again, but I think I'll pass Florida for LV.

come to california, only thing you have to worry about is rattle snakes, and they usually only live above 1000ft elevation.
