So, I don't know what I'm doing guys and gals. Just joined up thinking you all could help me get my feet wet. I've read around and it seems like a lot of you know what you're talking about. Where should I play? I am here in the states. How big should my starting bank roll be. Just to learn. I thinking five bills is good and only playing about 2 percent on a single play. I heard that was a good number somewhere.
Greetings

#5You should fund whatever amount you're comfortable with losing. If you do practice good money management, you will be fine. As far as where to play, I would suggest you check out SBR posters poll done recently or SBRs recommended list. Stick to A books and you'll be fine.Comment -

#8Welcome to the SBR forum gregor
I don't think anyone here could dispute your pick of BetJamaica, however I'd like to know what type of deposit method you prefer. Some books are better than others when it comes to this for U.S. players.Comment -

#10I Have 40% of my bank roll in MatchBook, 40% in BookMaker, and 20% in BoDog (Mosty for poker, rarely get a better line at this book) . . . Bet Jam is good tho. . . Be careful if you choose to take the bonuses, because there is strict withdrawing rules if you do, It's wasn't worth it to me. . . GLComment -

#11The only reason I asked you this question in the first place was, because I wasn't sure if you were looking for a books that accepted ****/**********, or even a debit card. The problem that most players have with Fedex deposits are it usually takes anywhere from 3 to 5 days before their accounts are credited. I personally would suggest using either [iSBRFORUM]Western Union[/iSBRFORUM] or [iSBRFORUM]Moneygram[/iSBRFORUM] if your only wanting to only deposit $500. You shouldn't have any problems as long as it's under a $1,000.Comment -

#17I know that Bodog does accept debit cards right now. They do accept Echecks as well, but you had to have an account prior to the U.S. laws changed (Oct. 13, 2006).Comment -

#18Most sites do "accept" credit/debit cards, its just an issue of will they actually go through. Most are declined.Comment -
