He has been a starter in the past. For a left handed pitcher, he is a pretty good option for 5 or 6 innings. He has a good sinker and get a HELL of alot of ground balls.

You do realize that Wesley has been around a long time right?

I don't think he has ever really been a "starter" at any level in baseball....

looks like he has 5 career starts in 150 career games in the majors and minors

I sort of meant that he has been around. He did start 13 games in the minors this season. They are trying to make a long reliever and if they get rid of Oswalt, then he will stay in the rotation.

I thought that I remembered that he started 3 or 4 games 2 years ago. We have had season tickets to the Astros for the last 8 years, but maybe I thinking of someone else. But the STROS never have had too many Black players though

He has just 1 start in the Majors, tha was this year, He did pitch 100 games and 100 inning between 2008/2009,

Hes been a solid strike out guy averaging over 1 per inning as a reviler (most likely to fall as a starter), but he has no control and nullifies that benefit by walking close to 5/ 9 innings.
