Not that I need one or want one but I am just curious. I recently heard from someone who claims he borrowed 20k and left the country. Not from the most credible of sources but he reminded me of something I've wondered about for a long time. How do these loansharks operate and if someone borrows money and doesn't pay back, the loanshark supposedly physically assaults them severely or makes them "disappear". How could they get away with it? Its just a topic that has never made any sense to me.
