Ever been scammed on Ebay?

ebay and paypal itself is a scam....they dont care less about the buyer.....as long as they're not losing money they're not concerned with your issue.

I'm fairly new to ebay but got scammed recently. I was wondering what's really stopping people from putting up expensive items and people bid on them and send the payment to the seller and the seller keeps the money on PayPal and withdraws it immediately?

I don't know if it depends on the amount but people do get in trouble and go to jail. I buy a lot of high end graded baseball cards but always from people that I know and are very reputable. In the last few years a few people put up high end items and items were sold for around 7-10k. They got scammed and the people went to jail. I am sure if you do a search it's around somewhere. It's very very traceable and they will get caught. I would never buy anything that is a large amount of money from a person that didn't have a great feedback and with some sort of history.

Never bid on anything coming from China... I learned my lesson on that shit.

When you recieve the shit it either doesnt work worth a shit or it is counterfit or some other shit. Stick to USA sellers.

Something will be done if it happens to a lot of people. If you are the only one you might be screwed. Chances are they will keep on going. Make a report of it though. Did you pay with paypal? I have had nothing but great experiences with paypal.

I have purchased 40-50 items and always paid a day or two after auction ended. I never sold but have about 40 nice comments from those I have bought from

I once bought an old movie from early 70`s called Gargoyle with cornell wild who was the great sebastian in the greatest show on earth and he was the naked prey too..The movie did not work but the gentlemen gave me another good movie which is called the dark of the sun with rod taylor and ex nfl great jim brown and Ivette Mimuex who is beautiful and did the time machine with rod taylor- I am happy

Another gentlemen sent me the original nintendo which di not work but its all good I bought another because I had a feel o play original nintendo games jackal, tyson punch out and the three stooges

I bought them all and got stoned and had a great time playing them and now they are in the closet for a rainy day

explain?? If you paid through paypal, tony you can file a complaint and they will open an investigation and get you your money back no matter what. I dont remember what it was that i bought, but it was something around 300 and i got my $$$ back because of paypal.

BTW, ive had about 1000 transactions on ebay and one had 1 bad deal. Just make sure you check their ratings.

I have been scammed several times....But have had many good experiences....Bought a 17k Forklift last month good experience.......purchased a 2k hoist and got scammed.....Paypal did not do anything.......It is always a gamble...

Yeah I will do that. But what happens to the guy the scammed me he still gets the money right even if I get refunded. I think that's bs.
