    I have never seen this in baseball.
    1 out for KC and a runner on third. The batter strikes out but Posada doesn't have the ball so he has to throw to first to complete the strike out.

    Posada sees the runner off of third too far and decides to try and throw that guy out instead. He throws it down the line and the runner scores.

      Couldn't believe it when I saw it. He looked Bloomquist back 2 or 3 times, never once looked at first base. I guess he was waiting for A-Rod to get into position. If the throw had been on the other side, he might have had a chance to get him, but it became pretty fukking obvious it wasn't a viable play. Plus, it's Sabathia on the mound, why not just get 2 outs and let him deal. Just fukked.

      That whole sequence was fukked because Bloomquist is only on second because of a phantom balk call. Awful.
