Should NFL scrap 2 preason games and go with 18 game regular season schedule?

Seems like 2 of preseason games are meaningless for most part anyway..

What you think about an 18 game regular reason?

Seems inevitable they will move to this. It will mean more $$$ and make the season more interesting.

Downside is more injuries could happen but some can occur in preseason anyway.

there really should be no need for 4 preseason games. These guys are already on the fields getting into game form. By the time August rolls around most of these guys are ready to go and I believe 2 games is more than enough to get into regular season mode. Like reload said this seems to be inevitable at some point. Definitely means more money for the franchises if it happens.

Its prolly inevitable...but I think there will have to be an increase in roster size to accomadate the increase in injuries...

26 week season with 2 weeks off in December and January and 3 bye weekends per team
starting first week of September and playing through March going head to head with NCAA hoops with playoff is April and super Bowl first week of May
2nd week of May NFL "D" league starts with teams sending players for develpoment with franchise in cities with out NFL teams
