Wow that is a shock. He had the best tilt control of anybody playing cards, often considered by his peers to be the best all around player in the world.

He was only 56. Didn't realize he was born up here in Dayton OH. Thought Ron Rose was the only well-known pro from Dayton.

            Unbelievable.

He was a great poker player, still in his prime and never seemed to tilt.

            He will be missed.

Chip has been sick for awhile. His body finally gave up for the last time.

Yeah this is sad. Do any of you guys know what "The Computer Group" is/was? I guess it was a really profitable sportsbetting syndicate, Chip was in it according to his Wikipedia page. I read that yesterday and was wondering.

Besides Chip, Doyle was also an investor in the Computer Group.
