Stephen A smith, makes good point on Lebron departure
When being compared to MJ, Magic and Bird, all three of those greats were never in the same situation as Lebron. They all lived in big cities, that had attractive nightlife, things to do and see on daily basis. Cleveland is a waste dump compared to the plethora amount of things you can do in SoCal(Clubs/Beaches/Malls),Boston(Just hours from Manhattan/Time square), and Chicago(Without a doubt the most attractive city up North).

When you thinks about it, it was an easy choice for MJ, Magic, and Bird to stay where they're at. Because it's fun living their. Plus they all eventually got helped along the way, because people wanted to play in those cities. This is why Cleveland will never be a serious contender. No NBA players wants to play in town with nothing to do, especially when your young and rich. If you just recently looked at the top most single Cities in the US, it's Chicago #1, LA #11, while Cleveland ranks right in the bottom 29 or 30.

In fairness to the Lebron, those guys would had never would won a NBA championship with his team, except maybe MJ. And Stephen A. Smith seems to be the only sport analyst smart enough to get the whole picture.
