It took the NCAA 4 years to get involved at USC. and it took a Federal investigation of Bush's extortion claim to get them to do any thing. See bush took money from agent1 then signed with agent2. agent1 wanted his money back and sued bush.....Bush cried extortion, uh oh thats a federal offense and the Feds got involved and uncovered numerous violations......even though the evidence had been thrown in our faces.....And now the NCAA cant move fast enough against other schools.
IMO the agents and the players involved need to be punished. something like agent 1st offense 2 year liscense suspension, 2nd offense lost liscense for ever. The player, you cant take a player's right to work but you can however fine the player say 10% of his first total contract....or keep them from signing with a team for at least a year.
maybe they should have a rule that as a senior they could have supervised contact with an agent...
