Back in about 2004 I was in Vegas with the coach himself. It was early afternoon and we were walking around the buffets loading up our plates and talking about the day's games. The guy really is honest when he says all he eats is italiana rolls, cole cuts and shellfish. Anyways, he writes down 4 plays on a napkin and says "here, I don't have any cash on me, go throw a straight dime on each of these plays, and 3 way RR parlay the fukkers for a nickel a piece". I say no problem pal and put the bets in.

We sort of walk around casino and check out babes, snicker at slots players, etc.
Then around game time he says he is not feeling well and is going to go have a quick nap in his hotel room. I say no problem and go watch the games. After an hour passes he is losing all 4 fukking games. I decide he has probably fallen deep asleep instead of having the quick nap, and that I don't want to wake him up with the bad news. A couple hours later the games are done and he's gone 0/4. I wonder why he's been sleeping for so long and go upstairs to his room.

Fukkin door is open and maid is cleaning out the place, mints already on the pillow and everything.

Never saw the fukker again and to this day the coach owes me about 10 dimes.

Hope this is a lesson to you young guns out there - the veterans are usually still around by hustling other players, not by picking winners.
