well it hasnt been long but already wade is making excuses and not being portrayed as a sensitive man.he was comparing losing three or four games in a row with the twin tower bombimgs, heres a man who i thought had class and respect.comes out and makes such an assinine remark that people are already getting tired with these guys and the season isnt starting,i do understand what he was trying to say ,cause hell its only basketball and everyone life isnt going to change if they win or lose the championship but heres a man who finds a way to come out with the right things to say and respect of others and comes out and says this shit.he has lost alot of respect from me and alot of other people who lost a friend.relative or employee who was killed in the twin tower bombing.with all that money hes making ,maybe he can find someone who can write his speeches cause he sure screwed this up.

oiler, this was taken out of context, not by you but in general. Wade's words were to the effect that the MEDIA would give print to Miami for a losing streak akin something along the line of the towers or the war in Iraq.

Granted it still is overvaluing how much attention will be placed on the Heat in the coming season but not by a lot. Still he did say it would be done so by the media not him and his teammates.

all im saying is ,the people who lost family memebers and friends in the world trade center doesnt think it is appropriate remark.these players should think about what they are going to say before they do cause it would save alot of grief and hardache for the ones that it affected

I agree oiler, I wasn't taking issue with you on the matter if that is how it sounded I apologize for that.

Absolutely a different comparison should have been used and he is wrong in saying the media in general. While mainstream media will certainly make note of any losing streak or un-met expectations, ESPN and other sports media will be 24/7 micro-analyzing every minute detail of the season. Just like they did with Lebron or Tiger.

no apology neccessary.i was just stating that these athletes need to think about what they are saying before they do.but what amazes me is wade is already falling into that trap .making excuses if they lose, all they have to do is play ball and let it take its course,he is right its only a game and everyone here would love to get played to play there favorite game but he should just ley his talent dictate his success and not his mouth and im sure lebron is going to come out and defend him,as much as i hate kobe .i beginning to give him more of a look now because of how lebron left the team,he proved to me he has no class,no respect,or any common sense when it comes to another persons feelings,
