Nowadays most jobs come without health insurance, so until we go Canadian style with the Gov't doing it.....here is what I say ( only slightly toungue in butt cheek)

Go to web MD, figure out what ails you, then print your prescription yourself and go to Walgreens or whatever.

ive been screaming this for years, ill be damned if i need to pay a doctor to wright a script for antibiotics when i got a sinus infection!!! i know what it is as i get a few a year and i know how to fix it.....of coarse i also know that i need xanex, oxys,perks,volumes, and aderal

Obviously, but too many people think the gov't exists to wipe your ass for you.

At one time in America, it would be insane to think that the Gov't could prescribe your diet for you.

The fact that you need multiple third parties (doctor, FDA) to approve a private agreement between yourself and a pharamacist, who is offering to sell you a good, is a joke.

You pay a doctor to diagnos you and to preform procedures. They should have no right to control what you injest, nor should the government.

Everyone should know that the FDA has their own private agendas anyway. Food and drugs can be more effectively monitired by private agencies, which would spring up out of the wood work if the FDA was disbanded. Private agencies are always going to do a better job than the Gov't because they are held accountable by the market. The Gov't, due to the peoples inaction, cannot go out of business currently, so their only incentive is to secure votes and stay in power.

People need to get their head out of their ass.
