If you're Lincecum why would you do this? The Giants and Cardinals are not only battling for the WC, but these two figure to battle for the CY award for many years to come, and you don't show people you are competing with the secrets to your success?

Just because he showed him how he grips it doesn't mean Wainright will be throwing it as effectively as Lincecum. Players from other teams share info all the time. They work out together in offseason. Much ado about nothing.

very true

oddly enough there are very few SUPER STRONG MENTAL pitchers that are like 5'10 and throw 75 mph's....

seems 98% of the mentally strong people are 6'3 and above and can throw a ball 90 mph plus.... kinda odd
