I can't think of anything for me personally, and I've thought about this for quite sometime.
Is there a VENUE in sport close to ST ANDREWS that you would want to go see?

If I had not been to Wrigley or Fenway, they would be right there with St. Andrews, but I would still give the nod to the OLD COURSE.Comment -

#4I go to the MASTERS every 3 years. The atmosphere and the beauty of the course are really great.
I dont think that actually watching the golf in the wind and rain of St Andrews would be funComment -

#7Played the Old Course in the summer of 2007, I still remember every single shot that day, I can not say that about any other nice course I have played (Harbour Town, Atlanta Athletic Club, Quail Hollow, Bay Hill, TPC Sawgrass).Comment -

#9play Whistling Straits in Sheboygan, WI
MUCH better course and designed off those scottish courses, i've played it 3 times, hard as hell, but a lot of fun.
BTW, 2010 PGA championship is being played here in August..Comment -

#12Growing up here in Boston has made it seem like not that big of a deal, but I really miss the atmosphere and intensity that Fenway provides over all the other lame ballparks I go to. It's always a let down visiting ballparks because of this. Not sure about an answer for your question though.Comment -
