    Quick rainout question
Doubleheader in Jacobs field today. Rain in forcast from 12-7pm which game is most likely to get cancelled, game 1 or game 2? Would they cancel game 1 and call it game 2 or vice versa. If they play one game after 7pm do they consider that game 1 or game 2. Thanks

My guess is the pitchers would determine everything. If the pitchers from game 2 pitch, then game 1 was the one that was canceled. If game 1 starter for one team goes against game 2 starter for the other team, then everything is no action. If you bet action rather than listed, you are asking for trouble in this case.

is it a day / night DH? Those are usually make up dates from an eariler rainout. The fans who bought tickets for the original rainout go to the 1st game, the ushers clear out the fans after the first game and the second game ticket holders are let in. It's usually a 3-5 hour wait before game 2. If it's a scheduled DH the next game starts right away.

Game 1 is 1:05 Game 2 is 7:05. So yes day/night DH, because of weather it seems only one game will be played. I really want Game 1 to be rained out.
