I know most here are unemployed and do not have real jobs, but for those that do...what do you do on the side??????

I bet sports and play a little poker, also mow 4-5 lawns a week. During tax season I spend about 25-30 hours a week preparing income taxes for some acquaitants. No certification though.

Have been thinking about opening a bakery(specializing in cupcakes) downtown....I hear they have been very successful in other cities. Anyone have any stories about the cupcake business feel free to share.

I've been reading a lot about promoting a cupcake bakery. A lot of businesses closing and I could get some prime real estate for a decent clip.

The fact of the matter is people love cupcakes and I am planning to create somewhat of a "cupcake cafe."

The market for cupcake cafes is huge and since no on has taken the leap here I am seriously considering making a move

I used to play the steps sit and go tournaments 4-5 years at Party Poker and some of the bigger Multi tables on Pokerstars. If you play at any of those sites we may have ran into each other

Not that. I did ask a guy doing that about his finds. He would sometimes find jewelry, but it's not worth it. You could spend a couple hours out there and find maybe a couple bucks in change. I wouldn't do it...

You gotta admit, it would be fun to take a metal detector to the beach.

It would have to be around sunset though and a really nice breeze. Maybe ride something like a golf cart with a few beers and drive the cart around with the medal detector held out the side of the door. You would have to go slow though to make sure it would detect. I bet every once in a while you find some cool stuff like a gun or samurai sword.

It would be a good job opportunity for someone like maybe say a mexican if you owned a golf cart and just drove him around and drink beer while he holds the medal detector out the side. Of course you would have to get him out of the golf cart when you see an area with a lot of potential and watch him real closely to make sure he doesn't try to pull a fast one. I bet there is a lot of stuff buried in that sand.

One time I found a real swiss army knife just laying in the sand with a bottle opener. Have had it for 25+ years and it has probably opened 10,000+ bottles of beer.
