This is ridiculous. Wind should not cancel a football game, baseball game, or golf match. It is part of the elements.

this is shitty, i cant remember when golf was halted for just wind. The wind must be a steady 30mph with some big gust for them to suspend action.

There are plenty of tournaments each year on the PGA TOUR that stop play due to wind. In America, the greens are so much faster that it doesnt take near that amount of wind to move the ball on the greens

i would bet offensive lineman, first basemen, and centers.. among other positions.. could not walk 36 holes as college golfers do, while carrying their own bag in sometimes as much as 95degree heat.

I am willing to bet you are wrong...they are in much better shape than you think. Not to mention they don't carry their own clubs.

yeah offensive linemen never RUN with extra weight (pads, helmet) in extreme heat for double or triple sessions in august
