should elaborate that the fact I am interested in is ERA, WHIP etc not the win/lose record that can be find at most places

ex: Weavers era, whip, SO against tigers

you can get it on espn.com on the pitcher's page....

I suggest you not look so much at how a pitcher does vs a certain team, but how the pitcher does vs the current team's roster.....

an example would be you could look at jamie moyer's record vs the cubs before yesterday's game... but that data would tell you how he did vs players like andre dawson, shawon dunston, jody davis, leon durham ect... which means nothing...

This is an example for Ted Lilly. You can get more specific stats if you hit the specific stats like career, situational, batter vs pitcher etc

OBP: on-base-% , what qualifies as a good-great number.. 0.333 , 0.250.. let say if a pitcher has .440 against a team, would one think twice on backing him and start looking more on the total runs instead...
