I have played softball for 20 years and have never struck out until tonight. I actually didn't swing so I don't know if that makes it worse or not. It was a 3-2 count, the ball was way inside so i lifted my elbows out of the way. the ball landed 6 inches from the plate and obviously left a ball mark. i started to walk to first and the umpire called strike 3. I showed him the ball mark and he agreed that it landed there but the moron said it crossed the plate. I could believe this if the pitcher was left handed but there is no way a right handed pitcher can throw a pitch that crosses the plate and then lands 6 inches away. I argued the call but i ended up just walking away laughing. i talked to him after the game and he said that it somehow crossed the plate. i explained the physics behind that but he wasn't having it. Anyway, i owe the team a case of beer for my strikeout.

Its alright I struck out swinging before.
Was trying to kill the ball and completely missed.
