I have 3 Harleys, all of mine are restored bikes, and all are in the 40+ year old range, but even being that old I still drag them out of the shop and ride them each once a month. My son also rides, he bought a 2010 Street Bob a couple weeks ago. Enjoy it and be carefull, no one is looking for you so you got to be looking for everyone else.

Nice, nice.
I took the Rider's Edge course from Harley Davidson before I got the bike, safety is definitely the first priority for me.
As for your son getting the Street Bob, nice bike. I went with the Fat Bob myself. Got the 09 Black. I will make a video of my ride tomorrow

The biggest mistake you made was buying a Harley before you learn how to ride. Get a used lighter bike first to learn how to ride and when you become good at it then buy a Harley.

Congrats on the Harley Holt. I used to ride, sold my bike a couple months ago. Was getting too old for a sport type bike and was tired of the way the idiots around where I live drive and their lack of concern for anyone besides themselves. Drive as if everyone is out to kill you and you should be fine. Enjoy.

Thanks for the input but I think I will be ok. I've always had extremely good hand eye coordination as well as balance and used to ride off road bikes, just never a Harley. Nevertheless, you are correct, this is a much larger bike than I have ever ridden. I will take my time and practice in a controlled environment before I take to the open road and join a gang.

Thanks for the kind words. As far as riding like everyone is out to kill you; that is exactly what the Rider's Edge course preached.

Great looking bike. Hope you have nothing but good times on it. If you are not married, you will get all the ass that seat can handle on that bike! Enjoy.

I've already had a couple ladies chat me up about it I may have to kick the old lady to the side she said I love the bike more than I love her, which may or may not be true
