Bachelors degree

15 years management experience, but that is all in food service. so if i want a job working nights, weekends that breaks my back and keeps me from my family for 50+hours a week, i might be able to get a job.

3 years experience in banking industry. worked for National City. community reinvestment act bullshit, lying politicians and greedy fukks. so when PNC bought National City, my job was one of those eliminated and they had nothing comparable. trying to get at least an interview with PNC or BNY-Mellon here in Pgh.

near impossible to relocate because of family obligations.

salary? shit, i'm adjusted down to expecting or hoping for $35K+ just to get an interview and a job.

I am 34, single, no kids. I have always had employment when I wanted it. Connections is the key. Also, when you have a job, do it so fukin good that the competition wants you for years to come off those merits

actually, you are partially correct sir, although i understand your attempt at sarcasm. see, if fukk towel wasn't in there, taking over banks and having shit hanging out there that is keeping small business afraid to hire and banks afraid to lend money, pretty sure i would have already purchased my friend's business that generates ~1.4 million per year. i have worked there so i know exactly what sales they are doing, the clientele, the competition, the debts through his mismanagement. so, even though he is selling the business at a discounted rate compared to earnings, i can't even get a bank to listen to the numbers. the calls go like this:

Me: Looking to secure financing to purchase an existing business.

BankerFukk: what business?

Me: Restaurant/Bar.

BankerFukk: Sorry, we are currently not lending in those areas.

Me: But the business is selling for 30% of revenue as opposed to 300%. I have nearly $75,000K in cash and assets I could apply toward the purchase price or to list to help secure the financing.
