Question:

I'm 25 years old and during the last few months I start to realize the thinning of my temporal areas (left and right). It's not an "M" shape yet, but probably will be soon. I can still merely cover those area with my surrounding hair. I want to use Rogaine or other hair loss products, but I'm afraid that it will worsen my situation once I don't use it.

Answer:

Propecia and Rogaine can only state they are FDA approved hair loss treatment options for the crown because they were only clinically tested in those areas. But many satisfied patients and physicians alike will attest that they can have some marginal benefit in the frontal core including the hairline and temple area.

Keep in mind to stop hair loss non-surgically works best on thinning hair rather than completely bald areas.

Be sure to speak with your physician about Propecia since a prescription is required. But in my opinion, as long as you know the benefits, limitations, and risks before consumption, I see no reason why you can't at least try these medications to treat baldness in the front and temporal areas.

Be aware, since no baldness cure exists, stopping Propecia and/or Rogaine will result in a loss of benefit and hair loss will continue as genetically programmed.

I have a shaved head(looks good for me with a goatee)--when I tried Rogaine 10 years ago,it made me feel like I had poison ivy in my head.Itched like hell and had a reaction to it.Definitely not worth it

No, use the foam. It calls for 2x's daily but you can get away with one application. Just like Moose (however you spell it)...

no, dad. I just put it on when I get up in the morning & when I get out of the shower. Takes 10 seconds or less, no big deal at all. I also quit using gel in my hair and quit wearing a hat but occasionally

Early 20's mine was thinning, shaved it and never looked back. Comb and brush? Those things are foreign objects to me.

Aluminum doesn't rust so if you go a lot to the beach the salty water wouldn't corrode the rug base as if it was made out of steel. Aluminum is also much more lighter than steel but provides equal structural support for a firm rug.

Go to the doctor and get a prescription for the generic propecia. It is called Proscar or Finasteride. Its a shit load cheaper and has a 25% chance of regrowing hair in the front. But its like 80% effective for the top.

Right Profit, head shape is of paramount importance. A lot of guys don't take that into consideration before taking the plunge.

Guys, ask your barber/hairdresser if you can pull off the shaved head look. They know heads!

If you are not going to have kids go get drugs but how does the drug know where to grow hair? You may end up with hair not where you want them.

No I don't wear one puckoff. But as an engineer I know the properties that make aluminum a good rug base.

Now if you are wearing one during a storm then you obviously would be holding an umbrella so the lightning will hit the umbrella first and if it has a wooden handle you won't get electrocuted.
