I'm surprised that no one else posted this because this is a few days old. But Strikeforce for some reason decided to forgo a MW tourney and instead book Jacare vs. Kennedy for the title. They could of put together one, two, or even three solid cards and got some good publicity for the entrants in the tourney, built up some guys, and made the belt somewhat respectable to more general MMA fans. Middleweight is their deepest division yet they pull this move. Way to go Strikeforce.
