why would anyone do a +500 bet with someone who joined june 25th and didnt have any points?

at 7 pts/day that's over 3 months to pay back those 700 or so points

i'm sure these guys didn't want to get paid 5 pts at a time, and chiarchie didn't get any when he was the first to pay?
