Would be great for the Knicks if it happens but I can't see it. Melo needs to turn down 3 Years and $65 million and CP3 is not a FA until 2012. No way do I want to have my heart set on players that aren't coming so I'll settle for the Knicks 35 wins this year.

It could happen. Richard Jefferson opted out of his contract because of the impending "lock out" next year. Guys need to get max deals now.

N.O. just wants cap relief for Paul. I know Azibuke comes off the books next year. I'm not sure who else.
