Appeal court upholds former Leafs captain’s four-year prison term
Former Maple Leafs captain Rob Ramage has begun serving a four-year prison term for the 2003 impaired driving crash that killed fellow hockey star Keith Magnuson, an accident for which “he will probably never forgive himself,” the Ontario Court of Appeal said Monday.

Gotta be friends with the family like Heatley to pull this off.

Or you could just not drive drunk when you are a pro athlete and have money to throw around and can get a driver at will, just thinking out loud though.

4 years? that is a lot......they were driving together right? Personally if i was a judge i would take that into consideration. Guy who got killed made the choice to get into a car with someone who was driving drunk, hes almost as much at fault..

As a non violent first time offender in the Canadian Federal correctional system the hardest time he has will be the next 6 weeks at Millhaven Penitentiary where he will wait to be classified and then likely sent to a minimum security facility, he will be eligible for day parole at 1/6th of his sentence in 8 months and full parole a few moths later. He may spend less than 14 months in custody.
