Michael Beasley’s father’s has interesting take on LeBron James deal

And now for something completely different . . .
As you may remember, Michael Beasley, whom the Heat traded to Minnesota for a second-round pick and valuable cap space, was a regular user of Twitter last year. He ended up canceling his account after some unsavory photos surfaced on the site.
His father, Michael Beasley Sr., is still an active tweeter. And today he took the opportunity to proclaim the real reason behind his son’s move.
According to the elder Beasley, his ‘SuperCool’ son was dealt not for cap space; the trade happened because of genes.
The ex-Heat forward bears too strong a resemblance to Cavaliers guard Delonte West, subject of one of the nastier rumors on the internet a few weeks ago. So, Dad says, LeBron demanded he was traded.
We’re pretty sure Beasley Sr. is kidding (and if so, he has an excellent sense of humor).
