Even though the SEC has Bama, I have to agree with Nina it is the strongest conf year-in and year-out. But since not everyone can live on the mountain top, you need to have other conferences, if only so we can have someone to look down upon.
I will have to admit, given a choice of Bama winning a National Champ or one of the lesser schools of other conferences, I'd hold my nose and take Bama.
