Where did all that covers traffic go...guess they have a strong football presence....should be interesting how the numbers pan out this Fall.

Nope...just steady increase...but that "spike" on the initial graph can probably account for the bump.

We moved our sites to the SBRforum.com domain to make log-ins and the user experience better. SBRcontest.com now lands on http://contests.sbrforum.com/. We have a few more sites to go. Some of the traffic is due to those now being counted and some is due to traffic doubling each year.

I inputed "http://contests.sbrforum.com" and Alexa counted it....that is, anything coming off of your site is aggregated.

Alexa has it's flaws but I think these graphs are pretty accurate

What killed Covers was the lousy sports books they promote

Site lost a ton of credibility and horrible management and mods

Anyone can advertise at Covers if you pay

Covers has been very constant to their credit. If you check Therx.com, for example, or nearly any other in this industry it will show weakening in the last 18 months. SBR has shown increases due to increases in content while others have stood pat or downsized. Bill and Lou have been incredible innovators and the SBR techs are world class. And SBR has the coolest posters thanks to JJ and countless others.

besides that, covers odd pages are so much better. not to mention trends, match up reports... i log on to covers to win, i log on SBR to post. covers is fantastic.

The "Gaming Industry" forum @ Covers is for all intents and purposes non-existent. Along with mod's flagging if you to talk down about one of their prized sponsors.

I'd suspect the whole point program here has brought many new members as well. I'm not so sure the quality of posts is on the rise however IMO.

This was not an attempt to put down Covers....if you knew the long term trends you would understand why I created it....just 5 months ago I told John we shouldn't even be comparing the two (from a numbers perspective)

100% agree. I couldn't believe it when I read it. Sbrodds is a very very valuable resource.
