No comment other than to say if Brock is banned, even for a day, for saying what he did to Nina and yet that BigDaddyHQ dude isn't after threatening Mendoza's life several times, then I'm not sure this is actually a forum of which I'd like to be a part.

I have no concern about my being able to handle any so-called pressure here from strangers on the Internet. What I do have a problem with is something I perceive to be as hypocritical unless there is a piece of this story not being told.

Brock's story has already been written, and we all know it ends badly. I don't think there's any hope for him, but it sure doesn't help that he has a place that supports his degeneracy and actually encourages it.

Landers is no conman...wayy too stupid. He is a bundle of fun on the forum though, and he plays his character up for entertainment purposes. Calling Nina a c*nt was pretty bad. I get why she did what she did because he was being so cocky about something someone was going to get fired over. He returned the money, no police were even necessary, and a bank teller has been undoubtedly been fired (regardless if Brock returned the money she was a goner for such a huge screw up). Brock was put in a moral dilemma, obvi he won't win the "Moral Poster of the month" award, but no harm, no foul. Bank saved itself some embarrassment by strong arming the relatively gentle Landers with some nerdy college boy in a suit.

There is little doubt that Brock has some con in him. That isn't Brock's issue though, at least the online persona of Brock anyways. Brock's character wants to be Big Time even if it's a false title. Pointing out loan scams, boasting about ** overpays, hyping the ever lovin hell out of the Rubberband Plays, interjecting his "Look At Me" stuff in so many threads and boasting about the teller mistake and his Big Score are all examples of a person who feels inadequate and is trying desperately to be a somebody.

If any of the stories Brock has ever told are true then it's genuinely sad for both him and those around him. Personally I lean towards everything is made up to draw attention to himself though. This is equally sad but for different reasons. It's sad in this scenerio because it means Brock is so asshamed of the person he is that he has to envent an alter-ego. He has to live his adult life in a fanatsy world because he is so unhappy with what life has dealt him.

A good chance still that Brock is just attempting to become the next JJ Gold of the forum world. All the stories he makes up aren't at all part of some alter-ego but are in fact part of some scheme to become a posting Super Nova. Most people don't believe the stuff JJ spews but allow themselves to be entertained if not by the content at least by the relentless dedication to doing it for so long. Brock probablly sees this and wants it for himself.

You have to admit from a numbers generating standpoint the stories Brock tells does get results. Good chance he has help in setting them up and continuing to string them along but if numbers are what you're after numbers have been delivered.

Nah, it's all good. I talked about this with a friend at dinner tonight and while he agreed with me that something seems a bit off with the whole thing, it's really none of my business why the decision was made to ban one and not the other so I'm going to leave it at that. He did bring up a good point though - one could argue Brock was banned because the threats were towards a woman but on the other hand, Mendoza more than likely has a wife/girlfriend/mother/sister that would feel the same way if she knew someone said those horrible things to him.

Threats are bad!! Play nice people.
